Lars Fuller, Esq.

Founding Partner

Lars Fuller obtained both a B.S. in Chemistry and a J.D. from Santa Clara University. He established The Fuller Law Firm in Oct. 1990 and grew it to the four lawyer firm that it is today.  He has represented well over 2000 debtors in bankruptcy matters.  These days he meets and advises clients during the initial consultation, and handles Chapter 11 and complex Chapter 13 cases and overseas and mentors associates.



Sam Taherian, Esq.

Partner

Sam Taherian’s diverse educational background include a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering, both earned at San Jose State University, in addition to his law degree, earned at the California Western School of Law.

Also licensed as a patent attorney, Sam’s experience includes patent law, trademark litigation, complex business litigation, as well as hardware and software design and senior-level management in Silicon Valley companies.

Sam meets and advises clients during initial consultations, handles chapter 13 cases, and makes most of the court appearances for The Fuller Law Firm.



Joyce K. Lau, Esq.

Associate

Joyce K. Lau is an associate in the Fuller Law Firm. She concentrates her practice on bankruptcy.

Miss Lau received her J.D. degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2009, where she served as research editor of theSanta Clara Law Review.  She was a judicial extern for Justice Nathan Mihara of the California Court of Appeal, Sixth Appellate District while in law school.  She received her M. Phil. and B.Sc. in Biology from Chinese University of Hong Kong.



Victoria Maydanik, Esq.

Associate

Victoria Maydanik, our newest associate, came on board in April of 2010 after working as a contractor attorney for The Fuller Law Firm as well as other law firms.  She is excited to become a part of our team and to help our clients through the complicated bankruptcy process.

Law is a second career for Victoria. Before becoming an attorney, she was a scientist working in the pharmaceutical industry.  She continued working full time while attending law school, and still did well academically and professionally.  Victoria is confident that her analytical skills, maturity, and diligence will be helpful in her new profession.  Victoria is fluent in Russian and Ukranian.



Steve T. Knuppel, Esq.

Associate

Steve Knuppel has represented individual and business clients in a wide range of legal matters, including collection matters, business and real estate disputes, and personal injury actions throughout the Bay Area. He received his law degree from the University of Missouri and served as a Research Attorney for the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. He has been licensed to practice law in California since 1993. He is also admitted to practice in the state courts of Illinois and Missouri and all federal courts in California.
